Abstract

Pendidikan Islam menghadapi tantangan serius berupa ketimpangan antara dimensi kognitif dan dimensi spiritual-moral dalam praktik pembelajaran kontemporer. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali, mendeskripsikan, dan menganalisis nilai serta metode pendidikan Islam dalam pemikiran Muhammad Ali Ash-Shabuni, sekaligus mengukur relevansinya terhadap kebutuhan pendidikan modern. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif berbasis library research dengan teknik content analysis terhadap sumber primer berupa kitab Shafwatu At-Tafasir dan An-Nubuwwah wal-Anbiya. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Muhammad Ali Ash-Shabuni membangun kerangka pendidikan Islam yang bertumpu pada empat nilai fundamental, yakni tauhid sebagai fondasi worldview keilmuan, akhlak sebagai inti pembentukan kepribadian, keilmuan sebagai kewajiban spiritual, serta nilai sosial-kemanusiaan yang mendorong terwujudnya kehidupan bermasyarakat yang harmonis. Secara metodologis, Muhammad Ali Ash-Shabuni menawarkan empat pendekatan yang bersumber dari manhaj Al-Qur'an, meliputi metode hiwar (dialog interaktif), qishah (narasi kisah), uswah hasanah (keteladanan), dan tadabbur (refleksi mendalam). Keseluruhan nilai dan metode tersebut terbukti relevan dengan paradigma pendidikan modern, termasuk student-centered learning, character-based education, serta arah kebijakan Kurikulum Merdeka dan Profil Pelajar Pancasila di Indonesia.
