About the Journal

AL KARIMA is a biannual journal focused on the study of the science of the Quran and its interpretation. It is published by STIQ Isy Karima  in Karanganyar, Central Java, with issues released in February and August each year. The journal openly invites contributions of thoughtful insights and research findings from scholars and researchers in relevant academic disciplines.

The Al-Karima Journal Volume 10, Issue 2 features fifteen articles authored by 41 scholars from two different countries—Indonesia and Yemen, reflecting the journal’s continued international reach in the field of Qur’anic and Tafsir studies. This edition presents a diverse range of scholarly discussions, including Qur’anic interpretation, thematic and semantic studies, Islamic ethics, religious moderation, contemporary social issues, computational approaches to Qur’anic studies, education, and environmental ethics.

Furthermore, this issue reflects linguistic diversity, with articles published in two languages: Indonesian and English. This multilingual approach broadens the accessibility of the published research and facilitates the exchange of scholarly perspectives across different academic and cultural contexts. Through its diverse contributors, international authorship, and varied scholarly discussions, Al-Karima Journal continues to provide a platform for scholarly research and academic dialogue in Qur’anic and Tafsir studies.
